Samsung LE32R74BDX or something else?

Hi there,

I have decided I want a 32" LCD TV for my bedroom. It will mainly be used for Wii and PE6, and maybe hook up to the PC to watch films.

I found the Samsung LE32R74BDX for less than £600 all in, and I am struggling to find any better.

Any suggestions? Are there any good 37" for a good price also?

I have seen the Sammy in action by the way, with a Xbox 360, looked great.

Do these samsungs do 1:1 pixel match via vga?

I have the R73 (same but with blue bezel at bottom) and it is a great TV. Yet to try it on my 360 as it hasnt arrived yet

Hmm if its a high pitch noise and only you can hear it I presume your young? As you get older people hear less (I remember this thing i tried on my pc with my and my mam she couldnt hear but me and my siblings could (all under 25 was the requirement).

Yeah I am 21. Might be that, here's to hoping I still have it in 4 years time

All in all though, it's a great tele, looks fantastic and Im very happy with the non HD images it gives, although you have to be at a reasonable viewing distance.

The room it is going in is big. Do you need more than 1 year warranty? Is it important?
