Samsung Magician stuck on "scanning for drive info" so i cant update firmware, any help?

So I have been trying to load up samsung magician to update my 850 evos firmware as its a new drive, its worked without issue for years but for some reason i cant get the thing to load now, does anyone else have this issue?

Now i wonder if its because i have a lot of drives? I have 4 HDDs and 3 SSDs in my system, could that be an issue? i cant think of anything else.....

Any ideas?

have you popped the question toi samsung Tech Support ?

i did when i had a little issue with the old 850 evo and they responded very quickly and informative
