Just wondered if anyone with a Samsung plama/lcd had an issue with their tv where it didnt switch on (you hear the clicking noise for it continually attempting to switch on). Apparently this is due to swollen capacitors or something?
Well anyway - if you did have this issue, how did you fix it? Ive seen some good youtube tutorials on how to fix this but not one for a samsung plasma Ps42Q97HD (my now "dead"-ish tv). Also read on another forum that it isnt too hard to fix. you just buy some new capacitors, unscrew the back of the tv. remove and replace with new capacitors? and thats it fixed.
Its either that or pay a heckuva lot of money for an approved local samsung shop to fix it. :/
