is the monitor bad and i have ti rma or wait for whql drivers?

anyone with such a problem here?

This is a problem these monitors have I have an AMD gpu and get this it wont be fixed unfortunately

Just had major issues with mine again when i reinstalled windows to my ssd it lost signal while updating and i couldnt change input so had to hard reset in middle of windows update then install through the HDMI socket, ridiculous.
Also OCUK mods shame on you someone else posted a thread about this monitor and the displayport issues, i replied explaining i left a 2 star review and that you never listed it so i could warn others that why you cant go by the reviews and guess what, his thread is gone as i was going to put the issues i have had again in that thread.
I thought a lot of OCUK until i saw they fix there reviews and negative feedback, oh well guess this one wil be deleted.
But i hope it gives at least someone the truth before it gets deleted.
regards

I too am very disappointed that the thread was deleted, as I had replied to it too and provided what I think was useful information for anyone considering purchasing one of these!

To summarise (again):

- Don't be fooled by the recent price hike (was about 300, now 400), the monitors still have issues with displayport.

- The issues are affecting people with nVidia cards more than AMD, however many AMD graphics card users still have issues. Some people with AMD cards have no real major issues, you could be lucky.

- Samsung are probably going to release a new revision of this monitor soon (if any of the rumours I've heard around here are true). Until this happens, logic would suggest that the first point holds true!

- the 950D is a safe bet as you can use DVI instead, but it's difficult to find at a reasonable price right now and is out of stock in most places.

Kind regards,
Stanith
