Samsung Spinpoint F1 750gb Raid0 First results

Excuse the pulse like graph, it's just after a vista 32bit install etc and i think some automated upload is going on.

Im using the onboard Jmicron Raid controller and have partitioned 2 spaces on my hard drive.

I would have though it be faster, hmm.

Vista takes days to settle down and will bash the HDD till then.

Yeah, it's not that much of an improvement over a single drive. I'm guessing it's the controller that's the problem, the JMicrons have never been speed freaks.

much better than the ez zero config raid the board comes with

i will get another result when the secret vista updates are dealt with, when ever that may be.

so i were to get another raid controler what will it be, and i take it i will have to reinstall an os
