Samsung Spinpoint F1 review

If the other capacity drives are just as quick... does this make the samsung spinpoint f1 the fastest conventional (ie excluding solid state) drive available? quicker than raptors too? I am going to buy myself 2 or 3 new drives to stick in a raid0 array and the emphasis is on speed for me :P

have u got any info on a 666gb model, havent heard anything about that?

640GB model with 2 platters.

Re-read the Tom's article and found this bit of text:
The HD103UJ is the top model of Samsung's new Spinpoint F1 family. While all are based on the same data density (350 GB per platter), rotation speed (7200 RPM) and interface (SATA/300), only the 1000 GB and 750 GB models have the full 32 MB of cache memory.
Looks like the 750GB models are indeed short-dtroked so they should be even faster than the 1GB model, but I will be looking for confirmation from another site
