Quite an interesting concept. Response times are very slow, but for a first generation idea, I think its quite a good idea. Not had a chance to read the article in detail, just scanned though, just thought id put up a link here though :D
 
I don't quite see the point in this. Yes it makes it easier to run multi-monitor setups in offices, but are there that many people who need multi-monitor, that also wouldn't need some 3D acceleration (CAD designers)?
this is completely pointless for the home user.
If Nvidia or ATI coul stick a USB port on their graphics card, to allow the 3D output to go to these, then that might be something useful.
This probably would also not support HDCP so watching HD-DVD/BluRay would not work.

This just seems like innovation for innovations sake.
 
yeah companys just love to say "worlds first" or "worlds only" its just abit of a joke, whats wrong with the current way monitors connect to computers!
