sandisk extreme 120gb a lot slower.

a format isnt the same as secure erase, format writes 1s to each cell secure erase writes 0's

personally if its performing well and benchmraks are the same id leave it as it is,trim and garbage collection will restore any performance over time ect, just log off at night and let pc sit idle overnight

i very rarely if ever leave my pc on overnight it is always switched off when i finish using it.

are there any other secure erase programs i can use? there must be a way around this surely? could i not make a backup secure erase the os then reinstall windows then load the backup?
or is there a way i can make the external hdd the os drive then secure erase the ssd with the os on then clone the os back onto it?
it definetly takes longer to boot up now.

thankyou for taking the time to help me wazza
