Sandisk Extreme III SD Vs New SDHC Cards:

As far as I can see the new SDHC class 6 cards can only do 6MB/S write

Compared to the Sandisk Extreme III which can do 20MB/S

I take it the SDHC cards are not aimed at the photography market>?

Shooting in RAW something more substantial is surely needed?

I recently bought a a Extreme III 4GB card and it really shows the write speed off. It can write a continuous burst of RAW shots very quickly.

But do be aware of the fake Sandisk cards, don't buy from eBay or any 3rd party type seller,eg second hand. I made the mistake but I got my money back without a problem. Best to look on the Sandisk website at the list of authorised card retailers to see where would be best to buy one from.

I think you are refering to a CF card at 4GB, i dont think they do a 4GB SD Card Ex III

I have noticed that there are other cards on the market with speeds of 150x and possibly more.

Any advice on the fastest card available? Remember SD Cards only...
I know sandisk is a good reliable make though...Think they are 133x

Found this if it's of any interest, says the device needs to be SDHC compatible for the cards to work so make sure that's correct before buying.

Also i think you mean Ultra II not Ultra III as said in your title.
