I have my board in RMA at present, but when I get my kit back I plan to try to overclock my Q6600...seems a waste not to.

It is an Intel 975X board and the CPU is the Q6600 - RAM 4x1Gb OCZ Flex

I am thinking of trying for 3.6Ghz
at 9 x 400Mhz

RAM at 1100Mhz or so perhaps..appears to be possible to set and fix independently...

Does a vcore of 1.45V, NB of 1.5V, and RAM at 2.1V sound sufficent?
In your experience what voltages should I apply to attempt to achieve the 3.6Ghz with 400Mhz (x) FSB?

to get 3.6 for me, i upped the cpu volts to 1.4875, the vtt to 1.31, and the northbridge to 1.48. as for your ram, it differs depending on what you've got, most decent ram is rated at 2.2volts, my ballistics needed 2.225 to reach 1000MHz, which is 0.025 above required volts. thats running at 5-5-5-18, not tried to tighten the timings yet, but I've heard running at something like 800MHz means you can tighten the timings way more and end up with faster ram that ram running at 1000MHz, something I'll try when I have more time.

just make sure your temperature are all ok, my CPU maxes out at 66, try not to go above 70 and you should be ok.
