Sapphire 5850 Price drop!!!

Yep, for just a couple £ more inc delivery, they had to do something to be competitive :p (I expect prices will go up again once other sites' stock has gone).
 
Waiting for them to reach their true value of 150 - 170£.

Hopefully that will be in 2 months when Fermi or the new Amd cards (5860?) are released.

True value is more around £180 I expect.

I too am expecting prices to drop when(/if) Fermi is released, you can tell there's no competition at the moment.

Also, I think we'll see a 5890, a 5860 doesn't quite fit the pattern :p

Should be able to cancel at that point. Saying that Fatboy is a pretty cool guy, if you ask him I'm sure he'll refund the difference seeing as it hasn't shipped yet :)

Good point! Bit of an error between my desk & chair there!:rolleyes:

I phoned as well but I was at "position 1" when the phone lines closed a few mins ago. Prob missed it. :( Gutted.

How annoying - I deliberated for ages about it at yesterday's price. I even waited until later yesterday in case there was another Wednesday deal! :rolleyes:

Now I feel a bit rubbish about it, when earlier I was guilty but really excited!!!
 
I tought the 58** series was subject to a $20 increase??
