Hi,

Was thinking of going for a crossfire setup with 2 Sapphire 6950s but am just worried of the fan noise of two cards, especially when not gaming just using the computer for internet stuff for example.
Can anyone share their noise experience of a similar setup?

I have 2 Asus 6950s (reference), the fans are VERY noisy when ramped up. I found the basic fan profile allowed the cards to get too hot when gaming, but was ok and quiet when not.

However, what I do now is use MSI Afterburner and setup a custom fan profile, which ramps up big time as the temperature goes up when gaming (don't mind the noise then), but sits at 20% when just browsing. Its fully customisable.

Yeah I don't mind noise when gaming just put the volume up :)
I just don't want to be annoyed by the noise when just browsing.
