Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 2900 Pro SILENT Heatpipe 512MB - make it acutally silent?!

hi there,

I've bought a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 2900 Pro SILENT Heatpipe 512MB, and its too loud at full speed. What cooler can i buy to bring the db rating to about 20db, or completely silent if possible?

Yet still keep a good temp level? (ideally cheap, but effective enough to be 100% stable & suggest another to help cool the card if i OC it).

will the Thermalright HR-03 Rev.A VGA Cooler be ok for this card? or can i get a smaller cooler for it?

You need to buy this cooler, Thermalright HR-03/R600 (HD2900XT) VGA Cooler, it's the only cooler that will fit the card.
Got one myself and the card is virtually silent now, remember to get a 92mm fan with it, something like this.

Would one of those increase case temps due not exhausting any hot air? My Powercolor 2900PRO @ XT is loud, but only in-game when I can't hear it due to the game audio. As soon as I exit the game it's silent.

it would, but not by a huge amount, i'd rather be silent all the time then have stupid fans on.
but if the computer case is vented enough it wont make any difference to the rest of the pc
