Hi there ive given in and im going to purchase this car as i am still rocking AGP and really dont wanna upgrade my whole rig just yet.

I currently have a sapphire x800xl cooled with my maze 4 waterblock using the standard 2 rod mounts through the card. What i want to know is if the same waterblock mounts and block will fit onto the new card, ive looked at reviews of this card but none i have found show the actual card with the cooler removed.

Does anyone know the answer to this or have a picture of their card with the cooler removed so i can have a ganda?

Thanks.

EDIT: Forget this post i just found out from looking at waterblocks, my maze 4 is one of the old ones without the four rod mounting which is what i need.

It's the VRM that needs active cooling in the X1950 Pro :(

I want to get my waterblock on mine but I'm waiting til I get my Eclipse before trying to wedge a fan somewhere.

I wouldn't bother with any heatsinks, I've not had any issue with mine since sticking my block on it, I have put some PC ram heatsinks on the VRMs though due to the numerous problems that people seem to have.

As for the water block - a ThermalTake one. It's got an adjustable mount. I had it on my x850 before the 1950, it's a while since I fitted it, but I think I had to adjust the mounts slightly.
