Sat Nav cradles

I was curious to know if anyone here leaves their sat nav cradles in the car still attached to the window when they are away from the car? Luckily I leave my car in the garage however, the cradles is kept away. I only leave the charger in.

Nope, would bug the hell out of me stuck to the windscreen the whole time (not to mention being a "Break my window! Expensive gadget inside!") sign

Only use my satnav for long journeys to unfamiliar places, rest of the time the TomTom sits in the house and the cradle/charger are in the glovebox.

My tomtom stays hidden away in the car while it's not in use - I only have it on the window while i'm travelling.

If i'm going somewhere less desirable then I put the cradle in my drivers side door pocked with the screen facing me. Nobody can see it from the outside while you're driving then but it's still easy to see and hear.
