After watching Tonight with Trevor McD last night, with a bit about Sat Nav, and if its good or bad etc I had a bit of a read today on the net about it.

It's amazing how blindly people will follow Sat Nav, people in this country drive through fords/rivers if it says so. But, as with everything, the Americans have won this!

Apparently, this lady followed her Sat Nav on her FairladyZ, which it appears took her straight down what appears to be a lane "not suitable for low slung Japanese sports cars"

So, I asked myself "Are people really THAT stupid?!"....the answer sadly, is yes :p

Ok, so she's American, blonde (possibly, from a bottle anyway) and is driving in heels... are you really that surprised?!

*Disclaimer - Given a good friend and colleague is blonde, I don't necessarily subscribe to the "blondes are thick" mentality ;)

I took my Jap Sportscar off-road one, diribing to a lakeside to go diving...

As soon as I saw the surface of the road I regretted it - was full of potholes and I had to steer around as many as I could...

I bet she stopped and put it in reverse half way through aswell :p

Edit: Looking at the amount of think mud on the front tire and the little bit of wheel tracks in front of it i actually think i might be right :p

Clue: Look at the back left wheel, notice how clean it is, wonder if she wheel spun slightly when trying to get out ;).

Mud spray is going towards the front of the car aswell :p
I was ionly makiing a joke, i didnt expect to be right :D

There was a site I saw on the net (don't ask me how I found it) and it was all about bimbos getting stuck in remote locations. It sounds strange, thats because it was. It was all done on purpose just for the photo.

I wonder if anyone can find the site (and if its OCUK safe :o )

I saw that and I thought it was incredibly biased against sat nav. Unfortunatly, there is a small percentage of people that are stupid enough to drive into a river just because their sat nav tells them to, but most people are not.

I agree, but I dont totally buy the picture! Shes not even made an effort to get out of that! RWD and the rear tyre is sat in water, note, there is no mud splashing in the rear arch or up the bumper..if anything, it looks like she was trying to reverse through the puddle (note the front wheel tracks, and the inexplainable mud on the rear quarter side panel).

Also, the weight of the car (being on an camber) over the wheel in the water would suggest that this wheel would not have as much trouble getting traction as the other rear wheel might...

Anyone else think this odd!?
