I built a new pc a few months ago, used my old raptor (8mb cache) as the main hdd and bought a 7200.11 seagate for storage etc, only just found out about setting the jumper for sataI and sataII comes set for sataII as default....so it's been like that since I got it
I have now set it to sataII but don't really know how to test if it's any different, never found it to be slow before.... there's a 'test all drives' option under cache, under preferences in the file menu of nero but i'm guessing that doesnt really test the speed of the hdd....it says the raptor is 69k/s and the barracuda is 110k/s

does it make a real world difference using it as sataII ?
it's an abit ip35 pro so does support sataII, is there anything in the bios i need to change ?

thanks
