Satellite Reign - Spiritual Successor to the original Syndicate - Kickstarter

Oh mama, lost count of the number of times I played through syndicate wars on the playstation. Might have to dig it out again for another run through!!

I loved Syndicate and American Revolt on my Amiga and I loved Syndicate Wars on my PC. *and I still play both :D* Of course I'm going to back this. :D

Beta or Alpha is the question I'm having to answer...

At least they have some former Syndicate guys on board, but they have a hell of a lot of expectation to live up to.

Take my money! I used to love Syndicate. I can still hear the theme tune in my head :D

Edit: 2 disc 1box version - assume you get two copies of the game, one for yourself, the other to give away?

Same here, the original Syndicate was awesome stuff.

Indeed.
I recall it arrived when I owned an Amiga, early one Saturday morning in early post.
Installed, and played it.

Some time around 9 or 10pm, I realised I had not eaten all day, nor had any water.
Twas the first game that truly totally absorbed me.

I bought a Syndicate/UFO Enemy Unknown double pack, first games I bought for the PC. Bliss.

new vid up on some of the features of the game, how can't you trust someone with a beard like this :)

Looks good can't pledge myself yet due to cash flow but I hope it makes the goal! loved the old games back in the day & if the world is as convincing as it looks/sound then that's what will make or break it for me!
Anyone know how far from the goal they are? I can't check at work.

What is the "in game support team" to me it sounds like in game help by way of payment, is this correct?

where did you see this? it's not on their site or forums so I really doubt there's any micro-transactions etc. The first games allowed you to use in-game money you earned by playing it to unlock help but most times it was pretty useless.
