The annual Stroke Association Charity day is being held at Castle Combe on Saturday 25th October.

This is to raise funds for the Stroke Association and its basic format is that you pay for rides in a variety of cars, all driven by experienced circuit drivers including some 'famous names'.

If would be great if you can come along and support this charity by buying a ride.

Theres always a great mix of cars, in the past including everything from 205 GTi's to Caterhams to M5's and proper racing Porsche's & Ferraris.

Cars that I know are coming (there's obviously way more than I know!):
Ultima
500bhp/tonne Caged Westfield
Various Radicals
520bhp Monster MG ZT

And as the poster below says, 'star' drivers this year include: Anthony Reid (British Touring Car Champion), Rachel Davies (Radical SR3), Paul Luti (520bhp MG ZT), Peter Burchill (Lunar Racing MG ZS), Tim Lewis (Ferrari 355 & 1964 250 GT Lusso).

Cheers
Ed.

A rather un-subtle bump

Just seen tomorrow's weather forcast, and they showed dry all day for Castle Combe :D

Also I've seen a provisional car list, and there's lots of interesting stuff with 58 cars in total.... including 6 Radicals (SR3s & SR4s), 7 Ferraris, Cobras, GT40.....

If a particular car isn't there please don't sue me etc!

And if the BBC got the forecast wrong and it does rain, please still come...... some of the cars have roofs!
