This could be like the 2005 US race if it goes ahead.
Airspace has been open and closed at least twice today. I noticed it between FP1 and FP2 while F2 qualifying was taking place (presumably closed after the missile strike during FP1), and again it just reopened a few minutes ago where at least 11 planes were in holding patterns before that (I don't know when it closed this time though).Apparently the airspace is closed? No helicopter, no race. Seems like a track where the helicopter could come in handy.
but with more tyres exploding.

Whether all will remains to be seen.

Sounds like although the team bosses agreed to race that a decent amount of the drivers didn't want to, hence being in that meeting for hoursApparently all team bosses unanimously agreed to race. Photos after they all left of alonso and hamilton addressing the drivers.
Yeah, that was the meeting after FP2. The drivers stayed behind and were still there until about 20 minutes ago, when they disbanded. The team principles (and Domenicali) had to head back to the meeting with the drivers hours after they'd left.Apparently all team bosses unanimously agreed to race. So one of the reasons for racing is a genuine possibility that they would be held hostage if they cancel it. It would be insanity to have future races there.A lot of reports that the drivers have been told if they don’t race the government will make it hard for them to leave.
