Hasn't there been new rules on chuggers? essentially making them pointless i think
Pretty much how I feel about it.I presume that the finances of those involved have been fully examined to ensure no money is being wasted on tobacco, alcohol, sky tv, contract mobiles, high speed internet and unnecessary purchases before help is given?
Or is this another example of the misuse of poverty to refer to those who have a household income below a certain level and are irresponsible with money.

Seeing these "poor" families with multiple kids being interviewed on TV. You got the mother sitting on the sofa smoking, one kid playing some game on a iphone, ipod or ipad, other kid watching Sky Sports HD and the last kid on his Nintendo 3DS. They don’t seem so poor to me!!
That's the daily mail definition of poor. (Which is also a complete fabrication.)Seeing these "poor" families with multiple kids being interviewed on TV. wages have been pretty stagnant in the last few years but food & heating etc have rocketed, stands to reason some have been pushed under.

help save my feet!£17k a year! If people can't live on that I don't know what to say.
In the UK a child in proverty 9 time out of 10 is because of rubbish parents.
17k per year would not keep a family going in a lot of places in this country.
