ok wondering how good a system i could get for 400 quid? need cpu, mobo, memory and psu. want to play lastest games very well, going to get a graphics card later after i sell my old rig for the money

300? Would be pretty tight, save your pennies and turn that bidget to about 500 then you could get:

-E6300 chip
-decent 965 mobo
-7600GT/X1800XT/X1900XT/7900GTO
-2GB Value ram DDR2

What is the budget here, £300 or £400? This is between the two since I wasn't sure what you meant, if you needed to get it down to £300 then you could get 1gb Ram only, graphics card is onboard so not great but it will do to begin with and overclocking will never be great here. Something like an Akasa PSU will put you at about £400.
