Scapes of Land (and first IR)

Went for a nice walk along the coast this afternoon, nice day (though the damn sun did spoil a lot of shots with some evil lens flare, especially my IR efforts).
These are the best I came away with. Nothing too special, but I'm quite pleased I managed to get a decent IR shot that I'm prepared to show other people

(Would've been 3 if the sun hadn't provided the aforementioned flaring, grr!)
Nice runout for my new Manfrotto 055Pro and 460MG anyway, which I'm very pleased with ^_^

5. and my first (successful) IR...

And that was that. The IR isn't brilliant by any means, and I'm not happy with the rear filter mount on the 17-40L (eis poop!), so to that end that I've now purchased a 50mm f/1.8 and will get an R72 next week (plus the Lee 87 takes too much colour away for my liking, too dense).

Anyway, comment and crit welcomed, as always.

And yeah, the 055 is great, much better than my old cheapish tripod
