I had to drive it off the lot - so instant depreciation and then I drove it for a little bit - the next depreciation point on a new car is about 10,000kms then sold it to some woman looking for a runaround car. I miss it tho - such a lovely little car. I felt a bit better tho because 3 months later I won a Subaru WRX Impreza special edition (in as much as it had a full leather interior and a badge on the back plus a little silver keyring) off a Coke text and win competition... I've not won much more than a couple of Quid since... I think I may have exhausted my luck for the rest of my life.

Nah - sold that too - the insurance was extortionate. At the time it was the number one stolen car in New Zealand and my girlfriend had a company car which cost us nothing. Ridiculous depreciation on it tho - $50NZD new and I sold it for $34K - the Pug was a significantly better car - much better built and more fun to drive quickly. The Rex was like a big lump of plastic with great handling... not great to live with IMO.
