Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1900 query

Iv owned a few in the passed, mainly on radiators and heatsinks, where u can let the mobo sort there speed out, at full speed they are loud, but no where near delta fans. As case fans i would say probably best not to use unless u have a fan controller of some sorts, but on cpu coolers they are good.

About the air shifting, never 100% tested it, but put it up against on of my older 2000rpm fans and the old hand test over it, seemed they pushed more air then my other fan.

I've bought one of these and first used it as a case fan...very very loud and would not recommend unless used with a fan controller like others have suggested. It sounds like a turbine, in my case. But they are very good at shifting air. I have since disconnected it, but I am planning on getting a fan controller at some point which should make things a bit easier and quieter :P

I've only tried them on full speed as case fans but thinking maybe I should try them on my TRUE.
Does anyone know if they can be RPM controlled by the MB cpu fan header?

EDIT: Think I found the answer. According to this review it looks like they do vary in speed if connected to the cpu fan header.

Think I will try this over xmas. Currently got 2 1600rpm S-Flex Scythe fans in push-pull. These have a lot more airflow so should hopefully make a noticeable difference.

EDIT Again: It's not a PWM fan. It only got 3 cables, so missing the PWM control.
