Theres a Goodmans 42inch LCD that does 1080p, can be had for around £1200 (maybe less, I haven't looked particularly hard :p)

Considering he just paid around... probably £1000? (maybe a bit less) it isn't a huge premium to pay. I would never spend that myself, but it isn't a massive increase for the high res.

I am perfectly happy with my Samsung 26inch :)

I would think his Panasonic TH-42PX60B would give a much better picture then this Goodmans 42inch 1080p LCD ever could...

Apparently the Goodmans is actually quite good, poor build quality but theres only a certain amount of 1080p panels available for them to use and it is unlikely there will be any particularly low quality ones as they are a high end component.

I wouldnt touch a goodmans, Bush, and brand in those class...too dogy and dont last long from my experience.

Nah not really, that was disputed parking fine. Back then i wasnt ready but this time am a lil bit wiser ;) Seriously, i aint too bothered if it comes to paying taxes on the machine.
