SD card data recovery

A while ago, I deleted some photos from my SD card.

I was wondering if it's possible to run some recovery software on it to hopefully get some images back?

yes, unless you have deleted and then taken more photos.....if you have it means the new photos have been writen over the old deleted photos and are gone for good

still its worth a try... I found some rather interesting photos on a 2nd hand card i brought....... :eek:

im not sure on any free data recovery programs, so i cant really suggest the programs ive used as they cost a lot and well........warez is against the rules...

ive used finaldata. and im sure theres many other tools out there.

I've had pretty good success using this program:

You'll need a card-reader (or a camera that maps to a drive letter), and it's a 2-stage process - first stage dumps the entire card to a file on your HD, and second stage scans this file for any jpgs.

Here is a Freeby that works very well- www.Convar PC inspector smart recovery.

and This one a free demo but paid for full prog but will recover all media - cards/CD's/HDD/etc. www. Bad Copy Pro or www.jufsoft.com

In all cases it is chance whether the image you seek has been overwritten already,there is no way of knowing - just run them see what turns up.

i can vouch for this, have ran it on my cf card and lappy hdd and it found all sorts of stuff
