SDS+ Hammer drill - Makita/Bosch?

Both brands offer very high quality tools.

personally I used to use makitas a lot and they were great, however the people who are making out makita is a lot better than bosch are wrong. Ive used bosch a number of times too and they have been great quality and people in the trade vouch for them greatly

If you care about brand you'd be looking at Hilti or Milwaukee. Makita and Dewalt are fine and do well enough for professional regular use but they're nothing special.

As it's for irregular home use and not cordless, just buy the cheapest SDS you can find and forget brand.

Did you really sign up to this forum so that you could resurrect a thread which is over SEVEN YEARS OLD to recommend someone a hammer drill that they probably already bought 7 years ago? :p

i just got a Titan ttb631 from screwfix this morning, never had an sds drill before or even seen one and it looks like a beast lol, much bigger than i thought they would be lol
