SE K810i or Samsung U600

Upgrade time end of next month, so just wondering which out of the 2 phones would you get? Both free on upgrade, both share same MP cameras. the only difference is the looks i guess. I'm sorta siding with the SE K810i as ive had a fair few SE phones over the past years and they've been spot on. Never had a Samsung as i'd never liked the menu's etc but a mate has the phone and loves it. Just wondering if any of you lot have either of the phones and can share any opinions on them?

If you're use to a SE phone, stick with them. Samsung phones are bit of an acquired taste. I have a U600 and used a few K800i. I perfer the look of the Samsung phone but for features the K800i wins hands down. The touch senstive keys on the U600 can be a bit of a pain.

A bug bear of mine on the U600 is you can't have vibrate and ring on the same time for a sms, it either ring or vibrate. Also the text size for sms is huge, like its made for the partially sighted. Personal mp3 ringones don't seems to be that loud either, not for the hearing impaired. The MP3 player is next to unless if your using a SD card, songs take forever to load.

Just to make it clear there are only four buttons on the u600 that are touch sensitive none of the number pad is.
 
I had a D900 for all of 10 mins and decided it wasnt for me.

I now have a K810i and it is spot on in soooo many ways.

K850i will be out by Xmas 07, with 5MP camera :)

Thats gonna be a winner!
