Hey guys,

I have just been to view one of these and I want it!

The only issue arrises when it comes down to servicing. The car has had FSSH from new. It has now done 41300 miles and was due a service @ 40k.

This I read is going to be a big service so I would appreciate if anyone knows the price for this?

Also the car is still under warranty but would they get funny if a claim was needed due to the car being slightly over the service timing? It will probably end up with 42000 before I can get a service done.

There are other people interested in this car that I 100% can believe. They are visiting it tomorrow also but I want to make an offer before this happens to ensure I get it.

Problem is Seat servicing will not be open on Sunday so cannot get a definate answer.

If anyone could give me worse case/realistic prices/information on warranty then I would be there buddy for life :p :p

All I can say is don't rush buying a car. Make sure you are happy with what you are getting. Considering its done that amount of miles, nothing too scary should happen. I'd say budget for around £300 labor or around £100 and do it yourself. Check brakes, pads, oil, tyres and MOT.

for seat warranty work the officail line is the car must be serviced within the guidelines or 1 month/1000miles either way.
I know we would still do the work I cant say for other garages.

Lovely car mate, but as said dont rush into it there are plenty out there. Head over to http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/

edit/

id say service wise maybe 200 quid at least, when i bought mine the prices where on the wall and the diesels are more £ obviously, i think the leon 20k was something ludicrous like 210 quid
