Most will have received emails about this by Gawker I guess but a heads up anyway.

If you didn't connect via Facebook Connect to any of these sites:

Lifehacker, Gizmodo, Gawker, Jezebel, io9, Jalopnik, Kotaku, Deadspin, and Fleshbot.

Then change your passwords anywhere that that pass and username(s) is/are used!

For once, this is a breach in favour of Facebook

They're just other Gawker networks. The most popular obviously being the former one such as Lifehacer.

Gawker are a generally dislikeable bunch. Gizmodo, for example, have been known to buy stolen prototypes and have messed with people's presentations at press events. They've also been very unrepentant about these activities.

Don't know the exact details but they wrote something negative about 4chan and the members of 4chan weren't pleased. 4chan threw their toys out the pram, Gawker did similarly and it ended with Gawker being hacked wide open.

Also the disabled comments section on this is annoying, I know it'll be hard to maintain order but disabling it so no bad words can be said about them is kinda silly.
