Hello all. Well, I've been forced to sell my 360 and all of it's games in time to buy Christmas presents for everyone. I've found a buyer who has offered me a decent price and now I'd just like to know what I should do before boxing it up and sending it away. :(

I know I need to format the memory card and hard drive, is there a quick way to do this? Also, is there anything else I'll need to do?

Cheers in advance. :)

To format a storage device:

My Xbox -> System Settings -> Memory -> Highlight Device -> Press Y -> Format

Once you've done that you might want to reset to the initial setup, just for the buyers convenience. :)

You don't in short. You keep the xbox and if people cannot understand you can't spend a lot on them this xmas then they are not worth worrying about anyway :) It's just xmas, not worth selling your gear for.

I want left4dead2 this week and will buy it even though it means my son won't get an iggle piggle this year for xmas. Its a harsh lesson but best to teach him young.

Iggle Piggle/Makka Pakka/Upsy Daisy > L4D2

(Plus you can buy 2 talking dolls for the price of a game you will keep for 2 weeks just to get 1000 Achievement Points :D).

Wait until i tell him when he is older!:D, i can see it now-you in your wheelchair at 85 asking for a push and him telling you to get lost as you did not get the iggle piggle for him when he was a baby-PRICELESS :)

Tis true, but don't fear I will pass the game down to my son when he's 18, it's kinda an investment. Just imagine what the game will be worth in 17 years time :) One day son this gamerscore will be all yours.

I cannot tell you how sick I am of that program, there only ever seems to be the same one on in a loop and still the little guy goes nuts.

Oh well he will enjoy watching me on L4D2 just as much :)

I'm only half a ***** as you anyway. Your poor son just gets to play with empty boxes!

Anyway keep the console!

I'd love to keep the console. :(

I've had hundreds of hours of fun and met some really good people through it, it'll be sad when I box it up on Thursday. :(

But anywhooo, a new console should be around in a couple of years, I've got my PC until then. :)

!

I can handle the show, but frankly the one armed lady who presents on Cbeebies freaks me out!! Probably scarier letting kids watch her than L4D2 :D

Hahaha I have noticed that they have thrown her and the midget in to teach kids whole new levels of acceptance and understanding.

All that good work teaching my son understanding and tolerance will be undone making him watch the airport scene in Modern warfare over and over, until Iggle ****ing Piggle is someone he wants to shoot with an M16 with a Red dot attachment. ;)

ask all the people you are buying christmas presents for to chip together and buy you an Xbox, they might get a used one for a good price :)

Just buy some 1p chews, wrap them up and say "it's the thought that counts" and carry on playing your 360.

I just buy family consumables and clothes now, cheaper and people always need socks :D.

Good idea, but at the moment I barely have a pot to **** in. :p

I've got to sell it and I'm quite sad to see it go, but no doubt I can get another in the January sales or something hopefully. :)

I was debating this as I need a new battery, oil filter, oil change, fuel pick up filter, fuel filter, cam belts and air filter for my bike at the end of this month :( Going to cost my spare pennies, was going to sell the console, but decided against it.

As for xmas, I have never bought any gifts. Don't see the point as I buy gifts all year round.
