Selling car without V5

Hi I have two knackered pug 406 sat in my dads field been there for months , both sorned, however I have lost the V5 to one of the cars.

Got and offer from someone to buy the cars, well past it so guess they will strip them down.

Can I just make up a form for a replacement for the V5? , I just don't want the DVLA chasing me for road tax 12 months down the line.

any advice appreciated.

You can request a new V5 from the DVLA

Contact the DVLA and ask for a new one, think they can do that (fee included)

but then I have to wait 4 weeks for the docs and pay £s
I know if I take it directly to a scrappy I can just get a Certificate of destruction, although this is an individual I am selling it too not a scappy.

good find , might just fill one out anyway and take a copy, so if the dvla ask any question I can point them at the new owner.

did mine over the phone when I couldnt find it when I was part exing the car

was delivered within 4days
