Selling on Ebay

Thanks I've had a look at ebay and read the q&a but I thought if someone actually sold something at the price I would know for definite
And if it doesn't sell is there a cost as well

You can't base it on that as Ebay have different charges for different types of items sold.

Just go to their faq, check selling costs and look for the category your item fits in and what price band.

You'll probably find it's a certain %.

Thanks for that. I'm getting about total £84 ish with that calculator. Could I ask, Do you have to have a reserve price, If my starting bid was high enough is this not the same thing, sure they cant put a lower price in anyway, or am I wrong.

Wow - I only ever sell a few things on ebay and never really looked at the fees - the worse case you could be paying around 14% to them (and the PP fees!)

Surely there is another auction site that can try to take on ebay :\

You have to pay more to have a reserve price, and a higher starting price if memory serves me correctly.

Obviously listing something at 99p is your cheapest option :D

Otherwise you have ebid or ioffer or amazon marketplace and maybe sell....dot..com
