sending flower in a card

i want to send a valentines card to my girlfriend whos in poland at the moment, and want to put a flower in there...

is it best to...

a) just cut a flower off, stick it in the card ?
b)dry the flower and put it in the card?

with a) its worth considering it may take up to 10 days or so for the card to get there.....

and with b) i have an aga at home, so would it be ok to dry the flower in there?

think i will do the fake flower in a card, and spray it with something..... then find a florist who delivers to poland, any recommendations from ones people have used before?

they do seem quite pricy.. and kinda want a red rose .....
