I really want a set of these IEM's so was surprised to see them on a website at the price of £140 when other more well-known online retailers have them at 170-180.

Usually if it sounds too good to be true it is and there are many reports of fake IE8's. Has anyone has used this particular site before? It can be found with a simple google shopping search.

I emailed them for a laugh asking why their price is so much lower than everyone elses and obviously there has yet to be a response.

They do have VeriSign secured logo, so they should be ok. Unless they are using it when they should not be, if that's even possible. I am always wary of sites that have no security seals too. Best to be cautious than plough in feet first and later find out a site was dodgy.

I have seen the odd single site sell items well below the average. OCUK for eg. They have the Razer Carcharias for £62 I think, much less than anywhere else. So it is possible you get on occasion a site with a deal that might seem hard to believe. As long they have some kind of seal then should be fine.

Hmm somebody posted this on another forum:

"Wouldn't go near them."

I don't really know what that shows, but I think I'm not gonna buy from them.

Actually, there might be reason for concern, despite the VeriSign seal. Apparently, you should be able to click on the seal and get details accorinding to VeriSign. With this site you cannot do this, looks like they just pasted a picture on the site, which is dubious. What's more, they have no phone number and no address. Doesn't bode well.

Goes to show, even with a seal, it's possible to be fooled.
