Seriously !!

wont see me out in that lol! i cant stand normal shopping let alone boxing day sales

Completely agree with you - the day you see me stamping into a shop like that you have my permission to put a gun to my head and pull the trigger.

I saw it last year when I worked in retail. It's so stupid, so many of these people come into town with no particular aim and just browse at 9am! Have a lie in! Chill for the day!

I'm going to venture into town today but that's because i'm alone in the flat and completely bored!

The general public consists of many idiots.

And a disproportionately high number of foreigners. Couldn't help but notice that the majority of those running in didn't seem to be what I was expecting (lots and lots of chavs).

It is seriously sad. I'm still in shock about all this hysteria and 'bargains'. Frankly, they should be ashamed of themselves. And I bet they don't actually save that much anyway.

People forget that they are still spending money with sales on. Its like me selling a bar of chocolate for £100 for one day, then having a 'sale' of 20000% which would reduce the price to 50p. Everyone would flock there because of the sale, despite the fact that it costs around an average chocolate bar.

Its bad enough spending out on gifts before xmas for friends & family only to see it reduced by 70% on Boxing Day.

How is it 'sad'? If you aren't fortunate enough to make luxurious purchases often, then I imagine the boxing day sales are a good opportunity to get some much desired bargains.

Yay for being middle class, mmm?
