I've nearly finished setting up a machine running Server 2003 Enterprise R2 (Yay for academic liscensing) for media storage and playback on the TV.
Everything's working fine except I'm unable to get any sound out of it. I've already enabled the windows sound service and installed drivers for both the soundcard I want (X-Mystique) and the onboard, but am unable to get any output except the system speaker.
the X-Mystique ones don't seem to install correctly which may be the issue - the usual setup.exe does not detect the card at all, and when the drivers are manually loaded though device manager the tray software does not install at the same time (as under Vista)
Any ideas?
