Half way to my first mil :)

Nice tiffy's Mr dekez Mr Tross and Mr Marine Iguana sahs very nice indeed !

Still in Preston but going to Boro today to tidy things up and arrange stuff ready for moving over here on a permanent basis. Mate is stable and comfortable fingers crossed will have all my gear here in a week or so. Looking forward to getting back into crunching/folding realised it's just as important for me to have an outlet and something other than helping out to distract me and keep the few remaining grey cells ticking over.
You guys have a good week, am too scared to have a look at the stats would someone kindly inform me when Mr halz sah has kicked my butt ;)

How can I join the OcUK SETI Team? I did a bit of work for SETI@Home years ago, but it took so long on my old XP2000 that I gave up and forgot about it - just signed back up and would like to join your team :D

Which brings me back to my original question: How? :D

Should have my bits and bobs with me by week sunday, then just need to keep drumming my fingers waiting for these 590's ;)

Going to finish putting something together that should turn heads in the world rac table....poop gpu users group... i say poop!

You guys dont seriously think i could stand being away for much longer, i miss it something rotten especially the wholesale slaughter of perfectly innocent pc parts.

Toxic, glad your pal is stable and comfortable, although it can't be easy for either of you, thoughts are with you both mate.

In the interim, postie dropped this off for me.

My output will drop off next week for a month as I'm off to Japan (Woot!). Unfortunately some of the crunchers will have to be 'not-on' however, I'll be back mid-April to fire them up again.

Nice tiffy Mr Chasser sah well done.

Everything was stable with my mate until few days ago, but the inevitable will be happenning in the next few days. Poor lad has a brain infection which is unrecoverable along with his other issues.
Have agreed with family/friends and hospital to carry on with painrelief etc for another 24 hours in the hope there is some improvement but he is completely unresponsive and after 24 hours he will start to slip away quietly.
There is the option for me to stay here but it would be a bit morbid i think so i will be heading back to the land of teeside in the next few weeks once the unavoidable series of events is over.
I really thought there was some hope, i would be selfish in thinking that it would be right to do everything to keep him with us and would be content in the knowledge we've all done what we can and he has tried his damnedest.
So i will be back with you guys in the next few weeks and ready to contribute as much as i can, just sorry its been such a long abscense but i know you all understand.

Cheers all for the friendships gained and the help received since i started here.:)

aich, just gone through the newspost; feel for you TT; I've been semi offline with similar family troubles, its just getting into the continue treatment and wait and see stage, hopefully it will stabilise, so throwing myself back into the SETI lark with a vengence.
edit: apologies to Simon, who was on the verge of stomping me, but not quite, and now i think no dice :p

John passed away peacefully at 10am today, just come back to the house. Need to sleep then make arrangements over next few days.
Thanks all for the kind words and the support am on autopilot now and will grieve in my own time once i am back in boro.
Sad on this side of things and i can't begin to tell you what kind of a friend John has been, but he knows as well as i do that life goes on and so will i.
So again a small breathing space and then let the crunching begin...take no prisoners and all that wot! wot!
cheers peeps
