Shadow of the Colossus released today

Hi all,

Well, this game is finally released in the UK today (along with ISO, as a Platinum release) and was just wondering who here has also pre-ordered it.

I've got mine arriving today :) Really can't wait, heard nothing but good things about this game.

Mine arrived on Wednesday for some reason - I got a chance to play for a couple of hours last night and am up to the 4th colossus now.

It's a good game - the sense of scale and loneliness is evocative of the original for sure - but it hasn't yet gripped my like the original. This is probably more down to me (this is the first time I've played a console/pc game in months) than anything else though.
 
ico arrived this morning, isn't a platinum release :) just normal without the fancy box that was with the original
 
Lets hope the Great British Public take Ico into their hearts this time around :) at £17-£18 no one should not buy it if they have a PS2.

Got Colossus this morning gonna have a bash later.
 
Got it today aswell, never completed ICO but shadow of colossus is very nice. Was on a colossus' head and lets just say it was a looooooong way off the ground :D . a lot better than beating up shadows with a stick!!

As far as i'm aware there is only the cardboard one atm, not heard of anyone getting a plastic case copy.

Yes - very strange feeling. You spend 20 mins clambering up the massive body, fighting to hold on while figuring out how to kill it, and finally when they fall - and your left feeling really guilty.

You're nearly done !!!
Stick it out a bit longer beat the final boss (which I think is a cop out) and learn the truth :)
 
if it makes you feel any better, those colusses were only nipping out to go attend the local orphanage fund raiser when you found them.
 
14 down, 2 to go.

The dragonlike colussi out on the dunes was amazing to fight.
ICO arrived today as well, look forward to playing that once i've finished. :)
