Corbyn's picked another good `un. Kate Osamor's (Shadow Secretary of State for International Development) Labour councillor son Ishmael Osamor has been done for attempting to take £2500 quids worth of drugs including Class A stuff into the Bestival festival with intention to deal drugs.

He has been asked to explain why his arrest was not notified prior to his election, and is being pressurised to resign as a councillor (something one might hope would need no persuasion). Jeremy sure can pick `em ;) Kate Osamor took the place of the mathematically challenged Diane Abbott in the role. Haringey sure produces some class acts. Labour were elected in May on a manifesto commitment to tackle the high level of crime in Haringey, much of it drug-related.

It's probably nothing compared to the coke dealing/partaking that goes on in the big London flats of the Tory elite...

I guess the question is, are parents responsible for their adult children?

Plus who actually cares, it's eccies, ket, council and weed. PFFT.

If he was supplying meth (of which there was a quantity at home office not too long ago...) or spice, i might hate the guy, this is just good capitalist fervor.

Legally no, they are not of course, but this reflects badly on the Secretary of State, very badly, and on Haringey Council.

    What?

Jeremy Corbyn is responsible for his Shadow Secretary of State's adult child?

So Class A drug dealing by elected councillors is just "good capitalist fervor (SP)"? You must write an interesting CV for yourself....

Selling goods people want for cost... it's quite literal. Only stupid conservative ideal's about the naughtiness of drugs make it "illegal".

    Fixed that for you.
I guess they are in the Tory "Nanny State".

Yeah, that too; in fact Jeremy Corbyn is probably personally responsible for the behaviour of every adult in the UK, if not the entire World, even those guys on the Space Station!

BTW as I think some have missed it above the son is/was a Labour councillor (not just the son of a prominent figure) and trying to stay on despite this in a context where he is dealing with people with drugs problems, etc. and there are certain disclosure issues around it as in there seems to have been attempts to cover it up before they couldn't keep the lid on it which might affect his mum (not sure on that as information is a bit sketchy on that point).

Sorry to break it to you capitalism doesn't work if you sell goods for cost <LOL>

You presume he had altruistic intent and was just delivering Class A drugs to sell at cost? Or you know him and can make this statement from a position of certainty? Or it's total wishful thinking BS?

In Chris' world, absolutely. Trouble in the Middle East? Corbyn's fault. Cheating in Bake Off? Corbyn! Stub your little toe on the door this morning? Corbyn engineered the door to be in that position.

It's bordering an obsession how transparent his hatred for Corbyn is and more importantly, aligning as much of the world's problem to Jezza. The very nature of this thread is utterly hilarious, at least it gives us 5 seconds of laughs. Fautus won't be far behind......

Fair enough but his very first word is Corbyn, closely followed by the saliva drooling down his chin. As it's still early days, not sure how this relates to Jezza himself (yet).

What a ******* idiot though....ecstasy, cocaine, ketamine, cannabis and it only came to £2,500!?

    Amateur.

Edit - was this for personal or to distribute? As it seems too much for the former and small fry for the latter :p?

Chris had a good chance at making a good discussion about a Labour Councillor acting poorly and how this could reflect on the party. Instead he tries to go straight for Jeremy Corbyn through the guy's mother and averts peoples attention away from just how stupid the guy was for doing something like that in his position.

He thinks he isn't allowed in SC because of his opinion but this thread is proof that it is because of his lack in tact causing the discussion to devolve into something irrelevant.
