Gonne be getting a new mouse mat tomorrow to go with my razor death adder. Was settled on the steelpad 5L but the £25 price tag does seem a bit steep really which made me look some more. I can get the Skarkoon l337 mat for less than a fiver and from the review i read of it, it sounds pretty decent.

Anyone got or tried this mat?

oh well guess no one has it then. Decided to get the sharkoon, if its not so great then its only a fiver wasted, n if its good it saves me £20 :)

I make my own l33t mouse mats for my copperhead:
Get a generic £1 mouse mat, slide it into a A4 sized carry holder from Wilkinsons (£1.50, they are smooth plastic A4 paper holders)!!!!!!

Perfect control and smoothness! :D

Look at the Everglide range :) I got mine for about £14 so its a nice midway point... and yes its 1337 :D I have a deathadder too btw :D

Steelpad 4d. Proven to have the lowest lift. It's also a great mat. Smooth and it comes with teflon feet.

get the razer exactmat, upgraded to this from my battered old func1030 (had that for about 4 or 5 years)

really really high quality pad!

yup totally agree the razer pad is fantastic with a different surface on either side. Its robust too :)

well got the sharkoon now, is pretty good actually. Just your usual cloth mat but is much smoother than the stardard alsop one i was using before and is very thin :)

should keep me going for a while

best mouse mat i've had is the Ice Mat2 that im using at the moment,
coupled with the lil teflon feet that came with it my logitech mx1000 is great.

especially after cleaning as the polish seems to make it really fly!

always been more than good enough for my cod2 sessions!

Thin piece of wood, nicely sanded at the edges

+ £3 teflon sheet from tesco

+ little rubber feet left over from my ikea table

= quality mouse mat, glides like a dream.

I also own an everglide mat that somehow warped, hence why i'm never going to spend that much on one ever again, plus my teflon chimaera-glide is better.
