Just a quick question on this LCD TV. It says that it supports 1080i but the resolution max is 1366 x 768 Resolution so I'm a little confused by that. Seen other LCD TV's that also say the same, ie. 1080i support but only 768 pixels high. Anyone able to give a small explanation of that? As I thought if it was 1080i then the screen resolution would have to be 1080 pixels at least on the vertical axis.

it just means the screen can handle an input signal of 1080i content. As you say though, the panel doesn't offer the full resolution to show this completely, so the res is just scaled down by the TV's internal scaling chips, and then displayed. most 1366 x 768 screens will support 1080i signals, but will downscale accordingly.
