Does anyone else like myself hate having to shave ?

I usually shave every morning (depending on lazyness :P ) but I hate having to do it just due to the fact of somethings getting rashes, bumps, as I have sper sensitive skin.

Just wondered if any of you have ever had laser treatment to remove it so you don't ever have to shave?

As I know I will never want facial hair as I don't like it.

Any input would be great thanks.

Keep your skin clean, wash it before a dry shave. Don't shave everyday, but if sensitive every other or every two days. Use sensitive face gells/foams for shaving. After shaving whack on Nivia for men stuffs, thats stops the burning rashs etc.

Or don't shave rub in mustard and enjoy the after effects.

I gave up, and use an electric razor to keep my stubble under control instead.

Any good for stubble as in keeping some stubble?

Permastubble for the win ;)

Have you tried different types of razors? I know it's a bit expensive but some may offer you less irritation to your skin.

If it's that bad you could try an electric shaver *shudders*

There are some balms you can put on afterwards which aren't really moisturisers if you're worried about being a girl ;)

Getting laser treatment would be very costly depending on how much hair you have on your face. For me it would be out of the question, besides I'm fortunate enough to be in a position where I can get away with leaving my stubble.

Mustard?

I hate shaving, i have to shave every day, if i shave in the morning i have stubble by dinner time, its very anoying, i always got a rash and sore when using electric razor so i just got a Mach 3 Power Nitro thing, its great, i dont come out with a rash at the end (Few cuts mind :p) and it looks better, tbh the shadow is reduced by about 50%, it feels smooth as opposed to a bit rough and it lasts longer as well!

i shave once a week, because i have never shaved daily it does not develop in to 5 o'clock shadow and is not dark hair either. I would recommend Green People shave products i have vv sensitive skin too and their shave lotion and aftershave balm is excellent, not greasy and no petro chemicals. I f i need to use a smelly aftershave i put it on my clothes.

I only shave 2-3 times a week, stubblyness >* :D

Try shaving less, it irritiates my skin if I shave when I don't have a bit of growth.

Not lot of hair and can get away with it for a few days, just very very sensitive skin.

Have to be careful what I put on it as face can blow up like a red tomato otherwise.

Have a shower, then shave at the end before you get out. The stubble swells with water and comes away far better, and it irritates the skin less.

I've tried a number of electric shavers and there were just terrible, wet shave is the only way, if I'm feelinng extravagant at the weekend I go down to the barbers and have them shave me with a cutthroat razer (that is damn close)

Allergic reaction?

Why not seriously consider growing it for a bit as you say, you hate shaving?

My beard grows back within an hour of shaving... :/ Bah, I love it, and the girls love it to ;) Well REAL women do anyway ;)

I'm going to buy myself a new cuthroat for my birthday I think since my last one was confiscated by airport security :(

I shave as little as possible, every 3-4 days. Do it in the shower and get some nice foam and razors. Maybe you need to get some Aloe Vera juice to drink - does wonders for your skin!

To qualify as a barber you have to have parkinsons of course  :D

It's needless to shave every day IMO, unless it grows very fast indeed.

You'll get rashes if you use blunt razors (cant stand those Bic things), but it's best to have a shower after having a hot shower/bath as it opens up the pores and makes the skin much easier to shave. Alternatively get some hot water on a flannel and hold it there for 30 seconds or however long, and you'll find it much easier to shave. Get some shaving gel in on the case and you're away.

My skin is pretty coarse and takes some punishment happily, but then again I tend to shave every few days just through sheer laziness. A bit of stubble looks cool as well. ;)

I shave every 3/4 days or when I can be bothered. If I shaved everyday my face would be constantly red as I have sensative skin. Might just invest in a trimmer and keep it stubbly.
