Sheep goes shopping

Pranksters put a live sheep in a shopping trolley and wheeled it into a supermarket in south-east London.

The RSPCA said it was a "stupid, irresponsible stunt".

Am I the only one that thinks this is pretty damn funny? This is also probably quite good for the sheep, seen as it is only going to end up dead and on a dinner plate anyway? It's always nice to get out and about once in a while.

Joe Lock, manager of the store, said: "We were shocked to discover that a poor sheep had been wheeled into our store."

And thats why they are complaining. Obviously couldnt pay for its shoppping!

LOL. Can't have caused that much stress, the whole theft thing is a bigger issue.

How 2 youths managed to get a sheep into a shopping trolly is somewhat of a mystery though.

RSPCA inspector Andrew Kirby, who is investigating the incident, said: "We have tracked down the sheep's owner but we can't return it to its flock for six days because of restrictions on the movement of livestock.

Why can't they just send it back? >_<

Some kids pulled a similar prank in my town, where they stole a sheep from a local farm, put in in their car and took it into the town center. They then parked the sheep in a multi-storey car park opposite the police station!

I'm sure the sheep enjoyed it and is sick of people bleating on about the "harm" done to it.
