For one day only on Friday 12 November 2010, Shell will reduce the price of Shell V-Power Unleaded and Shell V-Power Diesel by 5p per litre (compared to the previous day’s price) at participating Shell service stations.

Got a tankful this morning from the crappy little Shell garage in Twickenham (near Hospital Bridge Road) and had to laugh at their quality advertising which consisted of someone getting a big A1 sheet of paper and writing on it 5P OFF VPOWER TODAY!!1 with a marker pen and sticking it up outside

Reading had it on the pump nozzles. But they also had A3 paper on the pumps. Just filled up at 119.9p/l

Got a nice 31.5mpg from the last tank too.

Managed to squeeze in 59 litres of Diesel V-Power, although at 126.9... not convinced that it was 131.9 the day before!

Thats the standard price I'm sure mate. Not all stations are doing it, there is a list on the website...

They had all the marketing material out that listed 5p off, standard diesel was 123.9p.

The garage I used is also listed on the participants list.

I think its probably just expensive here.
