Shell V petrol 5p off Friday 12th Nov

Filled up with V-Power at 118.9, thank you nicely. No advertising at all, almost pulled out of the garage until I saw the price on the pump.

Does anyone get any better mpg with this? I'm pretty sure I actually get worse economy with this rather than the standard shell fuelsave

Makes my car sound a little nicer, it's about all I notice.

same with the petrol here.... 5p off so 121.9, but it wasnt 127 yesterday it was 123.9... So doing a typical tesco marketing rubbish, they probably put the price up for a few hours, before dropping it to 121.9 today... It will be back at 122.9 tomorrow i guess.

I was literally running on fumes waiting for Friday. Stopped off at the station on the way to work at 5.30am only to find a scribbled sign on the pump saying '5p of vpower from 7am to 11pm'. *******

Didn't want to risk driving any further and running out so had to fill up at the regular price.

Lots of Shell users here.

The offer was only valid of what is known as the 'company owned network'. These are the sites that Shell own.

The other part of the network is made up of private sites (Dealers).
The list was on the website because only the CO sites were particpating.

I'm tempted to take advantage of this offer and finally brim the Soarer - The most I've ever put in was £70, then I "chickened out". There's something about putting in loads of fuel at once that hurts the pocket more than loads of little tops ups.

£60 is my usual fill up, I stretched to £70 on friday but could have probably gone up to £100 if I wanted a full tank. Unfortunately this will go in depressingly few miles, but I knew what I was getting myself into when I bought the Bismark... Any less than £50 a fill up and the reminder that I need to keep filling it is just too frequent.
