You're right. I have found this BBC article but there isn't much hype or spin about the whole thing, despite a Brit being killed! I wonder if it's because Israel have something spicy lined up in retaliation.

Like with potential coups and regime change, etc. for some reason the British media doesn't report on stuff like this until it gets to the point it would be farcical not to - I'm not sure what the underlying policy is.

There was also that Iranian drone flown into an Israeli tanker that killed a brit (and others) last week. Its quite the escalation.

Indeed. But it seems that that incident is consigned to being swept into the memory hole in order to appease the Iranians at the nuclear talks. If that was my family member lying in the morgue I wouldn't be too happy at all.
