That said, don't get me wrong I do see the point that good oratory doesn't necessarily make the mark of a good leader at all (see: Obama). The funny thing for me in the article is that the traditionally Arabic way of throwing shoes at transgressing figures have firmly caught on in the Western psyche.

I will admit (again), that I am a sucker for a good speaker. Although I don't agree with a lot of what Tony says about domestic issues, I couldn't agree more with what I've heard him say regarding virtually every shade of foreign policy that he has commented on, in particular regarding the Middle East.

Tony Blair, Barack Obama, I'm very fond of both of them. And just to skim a touch more off of the top of my jug (and to make me seem even more shallow), both are exceptionally good writers as well.

Please, nobody say that I must like Hitler.

We step in with America to remove a dictator, and get eggs thrown in return, by some socialists with too much free time.

There might have been an even greater war in the middle-east by now had Suddam not been removed.

No he didnt and to suggest anything otherwise is silly...he had Iraq under control...much more than the British and Americans there now..at least with him in charge Iraq was somewhat peaceful.

There no absolute proof that he had WMD's...and as of yet nothings ever been found...funny that.
