Looking at the sky a little while ago I saw one :)

What would you wish for? World peace or something decidedly more selfish ;)
 
You could never have world peace as long as it's possible to spill another mans pint.

I'd go for no hunger.

I would wish to see a shooting star everytime i looked at the sky thereby giving me unlimited wishes. That or to be omnipotent.
 
My dad to be home for Christmas

I remember once seeing a shooting star right above a pub called the Seven Stars 15 years ago.

Seems the time of year for crap to happen. I've a grandmother in hospital and have so many bad memories of christmas it's beyond belief...

and i remember in the summer a few years ago during a meteor shower, it happened to coincide with the clearest night i've ever seen - bare in mind that there is NO light pollution here at all, a clear sky looks incredible - however, this night was just unbelievable... there were more stars than black in the sky, and a shooting star every couple of seconds. Will always remember that night. Because of the shooting stars, also got frisky with the missus-to-be on a tennis court watching them.
